Previous - Return - Next [The next town Zell and Juno arrive at is Old Village. There's a villager at the front gate who is panicking.] Zell: !? Villager: Emer...Emergency! Villager: B..Bandits are raiding the temple! Help! Zell: Juno! Juno: Okay, let's go! Villager: This way! [They go to the temple.] Bandit 1: This is it... Hmmm, this woman... [The bandit walks away off screen.] Zell: That guy ran away. Bandit 2: What are you doing? Mind your business or you won't live long. Zell: Sorry, but I like helping others! Zell: Hey, you're going in Zoids, too? Zell: Why don't we have a Zoids battle? Zell: The loser leaves. [The villager walks up from off screen.] Villager: Thank you for your help, but are you really OK? Zell: Count on me. I'll beat him easily. Bandit 2: Alright! Get out of the village! You'll never speak to us like that again! [The Battle ensues, Zell and Juno win.] Zell: We won... Bandit 2: We'll be back! [The bandit leaves the town.] Zell: Yeah, any time! [Suddenly Juno grabs her head in pain.] Juno: Ugh! Ugghhh...! Zell: Juno, what is it? [Juno runs out of the town.] Zell: Juno! [The villager walks into town.] Villager: What's wrong with her? She went north in her panic. Zell: (Something's wrong. I'll go after her and find out!) [Juno has left the party. After overlooking the town, Zell heads north to look for her. After a bit, he gets out of his Gustav and comes upon a secret meeting! It seems the bandits have attacked Juno, and she's lying on the ground unconscious.] Zell: !! Zell: Juno! Bandit 2: Him, that's him! [A mysterious woman walks up to Zell.] Mystery Woman: So... You're the Zoids pilot who got in the way of my subordinates? Mystery Woman: Interesting. Mystery Woman: I'll let you go if we fight and I recieve any damage. [She starts to walk off.] Zell: What! Just a minute! [The battle begins! Mystery woman is in a Redler. Zell manages to get a hit on her (wait, that doesn't sound right), in the first round, probably since I leveled so much.] Mystery Woman: No, not me! Mystery Woman: Not by this duckling... Ack, retreat!! Zell: Running away? [The bandits leave and Zell hurries to the unconscious Juno's side.] Zell: Juno! Are you alright? [A couple villagers show up suddenly.] Villager: Hey, are you OK? Zell: She's unconscious. Villager: There's an unused shack in the village. Take her there. Villagers: We'll take her. [Scene changes to the Old Village, Zell is outside the shack.] Zell: Is Juno okay? [He goes in the shack and finds her awake.] Zell: Juno, are you alright? Juno: ...What happened to me? Zell: You don't remember? Zell: When the bandits were gone, your pain started suddenly, and you rushed out alone... Juno: I can't remember anything... Juno: ...About a year ago, I was rescued at the ruins, unconscious. All I could remember was my name then... Juno: My memory before that is still gone... maybe today's incident is related to that... Zell: Now I understand. Juno: The villagers who saved me were nice, but I left there in search of my past. Juno: ...Somehow, I knew how to handle Zoids. Zell: ...then we're alike. Zell: My parents say they used to be in the Forces, but they were living on the frontier When I was born... Zell: A war spread to their village, and the whole village was gone... Zell: I'm the only survivor. Since then, I've been searching for my hometown. This pendant's the key... [Hello, cliches 1 and 2, nice to meet you.] Zell: But being a Zoids pilot has kept me too busy to follow up on the search lately... Juno: ...I didn't know. Zell: (But who's the woman that tried to kidnap Juno... Something to do with Juno's past...?) [A child runs into the shack to talk to them.] Child: Oh, my! The bandits are back again! Zell: Again? Got it! [The Child and Zell start to walk off, but Juno calls to them.] Juno: Wait! I'll come, too! Zell: No, let me handle this alone! Zell: You wait here. [They leave the shack.] Juno: ...Zell... [Zell and the child meet out front with the bandit.] Bandit 1: You again! Zell: What do you want? Bandit 1: None of your business! Where's the woman? Zell: What! Juno? Zell: I see. Zell: The woman who tried to kidnap Juno must be your boss. Bandit 1: Humph! So what? Zell: I won't just let you go back with her!! [Insert a battle with the bandit in a Guysack. Zell wins easily.] Bandit 1: Darn... They got me again. Zell: Confess! Where's your boss? Zell: Confess, or... Bandit 1: Huh, if you really want to know. Bandit 1: You don't have time to do that. By now... ["By now" is not my own typo, someone messed up "bye".] Zell: What...!? Zell: Is it Juno!? [Zell runs back to the shack and finds that Juno is missing.] Zell: Oh, no! I failed! [He runs back to confront the bandit, but he's gone.] Zell: They got away. Zell: No, they must still be around here. Let's go after them! [Zell heads off in the Gustav to try and find Juno.] |
