Resume
Home Depot 2007-2008
- I have been creating signage at the Benton Harbor Home Depot for various promotions around the store. I work directly with the store manager to create what he envisions, as well as help other associates to make signs specifically for their departments.
- Created a shirt logo design for polo shirts to be given to each associate for Christmas 2008. I created various designs for the associates to vote on and they chose the final design. I will add an image of this once everyone gets their shirts.
| Conventions 2006-2008
- Conventions include Jafax 11-13 (Allendale, MI), San Japan 1.5 (San Antonio, TX)
- Organized booths with friends in the Artist Alley to sell artwork.
-
- Kept track of supplies, supply costs, and brainstormed ideas for what to sell and how to attract visitors to the booths.
- Check out JamSammich.net for more info.

- Designed, wrote and illustrated the "Kids' Sculpture Tour" brochure, meant to engage the minds of children taking a sculpture tour of St. Joseph, MI with their parents.
- Revised and edited the ArtReach files and inventoried and repaired the ArtReach folios.
- Volunteered annually for the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, assisting staff and assisting judges.
| Children's Hospice, Polar Express 2004
- Worked as an assistant to the creative director in developing and painting backdrops and props for the world premier of "The Polar Express" movie at the DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, MI. Four scenes from the book were roughed out and painted on large pieces of primed canvas, ranging from approximately 30'x15' to 90'x30'. Form core props were also cut and painted to add to the foreground. The work was later auctioned off for charity for Children's Hospice.
